Amy,

thanks for stopping by! So nice to hear from you. Please share what's going on at your house. I too enjoy those "heart lessons" sprinkled in with the academics. Even though it's all biblical it's nice to stop and Selah.

Wish I had a whole room for school. aaaaahhh... We kind of have parts of two rooms, so we do what we can. Thanks for the positive notes about the workboxes. I am still trying to get them up and running!

hi...i have been following you for years. my children attended a PA school in Zellwood, FL (not a FACE school) i have sat under Ms.Dang and Mrs. Smith many times. we moved to Jacksonville, FL and there are NO PA school;s up here. God closed all the doors and thus we are officially homeschooling. We use SWR and RS math and am weaving as much PA as i can. I have for children 11. 9. 6 and 4 and I LOVE the workbox system. it does take a little getting used to and planning takes a bit a a little extra work but our days are very smooth. we do have a school room and that is a tremendous help. I am really enjoying homeschooling maybe it is the teacher in me coming out (i have an elem. ed degree) i so enjoy being able to stop a lesson to teach a heart lesson. i am enjoying the closer relationship w/ my oldest daughter too.

i highly recommend the workbox system. several of my friends w/ 4 children are using it too.

blessings,

"Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty" (2 Cor. 3:17)
I rejoice in the "layers of freedom" that God brings me into and yes your words are so freeing and I think that is why I got soooooo blessed. Lori spoke what was in my hear that didn't get typed out :-)

LOL Lori you are funny! I just wanted to make sure you know that we are not perfect (not that doing or not doing any of these things would me us so). Our goal is not all this outward stuff but the heart. Who cares if you wear skirts all the time if you are hateful? Who cares if you don't watch TV but you lie? I am much more interested in your character than your activity.
