I got back Saturday night from the Tyler,TX, conference with Ms. Dang on Proclaiming Liberty to the Nations. It was a wonderful time. But it was cold and rainy and I could not seem to get warm. I kept my coat on all day the first day. And I was so very tired. I went to bed at 9:30 (which I NEVER do). Then I found out why I was so cold and tired.

That night I got a terrible stomach flu. I’ve never been sick when I was out of town, so I was sad and disappointed. I drove almost 6 hours for the conference (in the snow), made arrangements for my kids and paid for the conference. And now I was stuck in bed, praying and sleeping. But God is good and I am much better.

I was so happy to have my new friends at YWAM to take care of me. Matilde, Kylie and others were so gracious and let me stay in their homes, nursing me back to health. I was able to get home on Saturday and get some much needed rest over the weekend. They are kind enough to send me the audio from the second day, so I will be able to catch up (thanks Ricardo!).

I will share more about my insights and light bulb moments from the conference in the coming days. Also I will get back to the prayer principles as well.

As a teaser, she said something about childre and sharing that was very interesting. I’ll talk about that next time. It may challenge your sensibilities, I don’t know. But it was lively conversation!
